Autobahn is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for our luxury brands. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain high-performance vehicles, focusing on safety, precision, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee preferred.
• Luxury, European, or franchise dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders to dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, A/C, and drivability systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer platforms.
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates.
• Provide accurate estimates and execute warranty repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with technologies.
• Contribute to a high-performance team focused on excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and drivability systems
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates to ensure a seamless client experience
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendationsExecute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance
• Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability
