Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist, Vulnerability Management for a 12-month, onsite contract in Richmond, VA.

You will liaison between application teams, Information Security, Operations, Engineering and business stakeholders to drive remediation, patching, and risk reduction across a large technology environment.

The role supports ServiceNow Vulnerability Management initiatives, identifies process improvements, and delivers reporting and metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management or related security fields.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist, Vulnerability Management to support enterprise vulnerability management and remediation initiatives across a large-scale technology environment. This is a 12-month contract engagement to start that will be fully onsite. This individual will serve as a key liaison between application teams, Information Security, Operations, Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive vulnerability remediation, patching efforts, and risk reduction activities. The role is responsible for coordinating remediation workstreams, analyzing vulnerability data to identify priorities, partnering with stakeholders to resolve security risks, and supporting cross-functional efforts across technology teams. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Specialist will support ServiceNow Vulnerability Management initiatives, identify process and automation improvement opportunities, deliver reporting and metrics to leadership, contribute to process improvement projects, and provide subject matter expertise on vulnerability management processes, remediation strategies, and security best practices. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, project coordination experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related technology disciplines.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management or Vulnerability Response.
• Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation and patch management initiatives within large enterprise environments.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience working across multiple technology, security, and business teams to drive risk reduction efforts.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build partnerships across a matrixed organization.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.
