Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) to help shape how AI systems understand cybersecurity. This remote hourly contract role focuses on analyzing vulnerability data and guiding risk-based decisions.

You will work with threat data, CVEs, and scanners to label realistic training data for AI and ensure outputs reflect real-world judgment. Ideal for candidates with 2+ years in security operations and independent work style.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
  • Familiarity with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks.
  • Able to articulate the difference between theoretical risk and what actually matters in a live environment.
  • A structured, analytical thinker who communicates clearly in writing.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
  • Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and appropriate remediation strategies
  • Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios

Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training)

We're looking for experienced vulnerability management and security operations professionals to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on cybersecurity content. Your real-world expertise in how security teams discover, prioritize, and remediate risk will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about vulnerabilities — making a meaningful impact on the future of security-aware AI.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
