Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an University - Summer internship for Enterprise Cybersecurity Vulnerability Intern in the McLean, VA area. You will help support internal vulnerability management, scanning, data analytics, remediation tracking, and reporting across critical systems in Booz Allen's environment.

You will develop dashboards, analyze vulnerability data with Python/SQL, and collaborate with analysts to improve remediation strategies. U.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL or Python
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, solutions, or technologies
• Knowledge of basic networking protocols (TCP/IP/HTTP/HTTPS/DNS)
• Ability to use BI tools to aggregate and analyze data (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Analytics, or Data Science by December 2028

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability scanning and assessment using enterprise tools such as Tenable Security Center and Tenable Cloud Security
• Support vulnerability data analysis, including identifying trends, tracking remediation progress, and validating patch compliance
• Help develop and maintain vulnerability management dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools
• Extract, transform, and analyze vulnerability data using Python or SQL
• Collaborate with vulnerability analysts to support outreach efforts to affected environments
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on emerging threats and remediation strategies
• Grow communication and technical skills by partnering with senior analysts and presenting findings in team reviews
