Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA is offering an Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention Intern role. You will support cybersecurity programs by monitoring data transfers, investigating potential data loss events, and assisting incident response. You will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, data governance, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with IT, Legal, Governance, Privacy, and business teams helps strengthen data protection processes. U.S.

Qualifications

Knowledge of foundational cybersecurity concepts including access control and incident response.
Ability to analyze, investigate, and think critically.
Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
Ability to document technical findings clearly and work independently.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze data transfers across email, removable media, web services, cloud storage, and printers.
Investigate DLP alerts and potential incidents involving data exfiltration or policy violations.
Support incident response by collecting and analyzing evidence and maintaining documentation.
Assist with developing, testing, and validating DLP policies and rules.
Collaborate with IT, Legal, Governance, Privacy, and business teams to remediate incidents.
