Job description

Kinder Morgan keeps a small, opinionated engineering team in Peoria, and the next opinion we need belongs to a Vue.js Developer. The bargain is plain — your 4 years and Networking for $79,000 - $109,000, plus a technology team that hands over the reins.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with TypeScript
• Stitch Java events into the Innovation pipeline feeding Kinder Morgan's technology reports
• Automate the manual PHP chores that quietly drain Peoria, AZ engineering hours
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across Jest-based applications
• Replace the brittle Networking hack with an Organization solution that survives Peoria scale
• Document the Java system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Design Docker APIs other Peoria, AZ teams will still thank you for next year

What You'll Bring

• Practical command of C#, with bonus points for Express.js
• Calm under the solutions-focused chaos a mid-level role tends to generate
• Solid understanding of technology best practices and industry standards
• An AZ work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• Comfort with the freelance cadence of a Peoria-based operation
• Sharp organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple workstreams

Kinder Morgan builds the unglamorous technology plumbing that Peoria, AZ relies on, and it does so with boldly-pragmatic pride. We'd rather hear hard truths in the hallway than polite fictions in the all-hands.

The number is $79,000 - $109,000; the rest is mentorship, health coverage, paid growth time, and a freelance arrangement that respects your evenings.
