Job summary

Child Care Aware is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Foundation’s daily operations and guide fundraising and development initiatives. The role reports to the Board Chair and partners with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to advance the Foundation’s mission.

The Executive Director will develop long-range strategies, manage the annual budget, and collaborate with state agencies to further the Foundation’s goals.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

The Executive Director is an at will employee and reports to the Board Chair and is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations and activities of the Foundation. Key responsibilities include the creation and oversight of fundraising and development activities, developing long-range strategies to increase awareness of the Foundation’s mission and vision, managing the organization’s annual budget, and collaborating with leadership of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. The incumbent will serve as partner with other state agencies to further the mission of the Foundation.

$145,000 / year
