Job summary

Vekend, Llc is seeking a Sr Net Developer to design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, leveraging AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, EC2, and S3, in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate within a team to design scalable distributed systems, troubleshoot issues, and support automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field may be preferred, but equivalent hands-on professional experience should also be considered.
• Extensive experience with C#/.NET and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong AWS experience including SQS, SNS, Lambda, EC2, and S3, plus related tooling.

Who You’ll Work With

We are looking for a Sr Net Developer to design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET/.NET Core. Build and support event-driven and asynchronous solutions leveraging AWS services, particularly SQS and SNS, as well as Lambda, EC2, and S3. Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable distributed systems, collaborate within an Agile engineering team, troubleshoot application and integration issues, and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.

You will collaborate within an Agile engineering team, focusing on the design, development, and enhancement of cloud-native applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

What You’ll Do

.NET/.NET Core. Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and microservices, along with strong AWS experience, especially with SQS and SNS.

Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging solutions.

Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts.
*Experience with AWS Lambda, EC2, and S3, SQL Server and database design, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.

Ability to work effectively in an Agile engineering environment.

What You’ll Bring

Nice-to-Haves

Experience designing highly scalable cloud-native or distributed applications.

Deeper expertise in AWS serverless and event-driven architectures, including messaging patterns, queue-based processing, and pub/sub models.

Experience working with complex microservices ecosystems, automated testing, DevOps practices, and production support for cloud-based applications.

AWS certifications would be a plus but are not required.
