Job summary

RTI International, a scientific research institute in the United States, seeks a Vice President to lead the Workplace, Safety & Security Division and drive the Campus of the Future strategy for the RTP headquarters. You will oversee real estate, facilities, and security programs to enable innovation, employee experience, and resilience.

Strong strategic leadership, financial acumen, and experience advising executives are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD with extensive experience in workplace, real estate, campus, facilities, and security strategies.
• Experience translating business objectives into integrated workplace and security plans.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with executive visibility.
• Experience leading change communications and supporting employees through workplace changes.
• Demonstrated success advising executive leaders on complex workplace and risk decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead RTI's integrated Workplace and Security Division in line with mission and priorities.
• Set Campus of the Future strategy for RTP to foster innovation and collaboration.
• Advance workplace strategy across employee experience, hybrid work, analytics and productivity.
• Oversee real estate strategy, transactions, space planning, and portfolio optimization.
• Oversee Global Security strategy, risk mitigation, and employee safety and readiness.
• Partner with Enterprise Risk Management on crisis preparedness and business continuity.
• Guide capital planning and budgets for facilities, campus, and infrastructure.
• Champion service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
