Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Business Specialist in Los Angeles to oversee Advisor operations, mentor staff, and coordinate client service initiatives within the J.P. Morgan Advisors unit.

The role partners with leadership to optimize workflows and uncover new business opportunities. Candidates should bring 7 years in financial services, a strong client-focus, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in Financial Services industry.
• Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Series 7 & 66 licenses upon hire or must successfully obtain within 180 days from start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales support effort for a J.P. Morgan Advisors team through the coordination and completion of client service-related projects and operational issues; supervise junior sales support including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversees and regulates workflow within the group including identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies; develop procedures for solving logistical and administrative client concerns; improve communications between team members, JPMA partners, and clients.
• Manage client contact and coverage responsibilities including main point of contact for key client relationships; ensure compliance, regulatory, risk management, and due diligence requirements are met.
• Attend client meetings as necessary; complete ad hoc client related projects; resolve issues and provide creative solutions.
• Work with Financial Advisor to identify new business opportunities; market and implement investment solutions per objectives; grow assets by developing opportunities from existing client base.
• Perform special portfolio analysis on products; participate in product rollouts and research meetings.
• Assist onboarding of new relationships and meet service needs and expectations of existing and new clients.
