Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in multi-level, cross-functional teams
• Experience in veterinary practice or animal welfare preferred

Responsibilities

• Organizational Planning – Develop operational strategies aligning Veterinary Services with strategic priorities.
• Leadership & Growth – Lead and develop a team of Veterinary Services managers and staff; set performance metrics.
• Partnerships – Collaborate with veterinarians and senior leaders to deliver shelter medicine and community care initiatives.
• Processes Optimization & Data Analysis – Develop protocols, monitor metrics, and drive process improvements.
• Financial Management – Lead budget planning, inventory control, and staffing costs.
• Compliance – Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA/DEA.
