Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group, a leading global financial institution headquartered in New York, seeks a Vice President and Trust Relationship Manager to drive strategic expansion of fiduciary services from its San Francisco office. This senior role partners with Private Wealth Advisors and GS Trust Company professionals to deliver sophisticated wealth planning and family office services.

Ideal candidates hold a JD and/or MBA with extensive experience in trust & estates administration and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD and/or MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in structuring multi-generational wealth and estate planning.
• Experience with trust companies in legal, business development, administration, or operations.
• Experience interfacing with Trustees, Attorneys, Accountants, and other advisors.
• Strong leadership and business development responsibilities.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to build consensus and facilitate decision-making among families.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in trust administration, with discretionary, directed, and delegated trust arrangements.
• Interpret trust agreements and related legal documents with senior leadership and external parties.
• Oversee strategic relationships between Goldman Sachs and preferred third-party trust companies.
• Provide high-level liaison as dedicated client experience facilitator.
• Lead regional fiduciary business development with Private Wealth Advisors.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional GS Family Office services.
