Houlihan Lokey, Inc. is seeking a Vice President for our Transaction Advisory Services practice in New York and other key U.S. offices.

You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, working with senior client executives and target management to quantify earnings quality and risk. Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of financial due diligence experience (or a combination with audit experience, including at least 4 years of financial due diligence), preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
• Drive discussions with senior client executives and target management.
• Manage team members (Analysts and Associates) on engagements.
• Cultivate and deepen relationships with key clients, assisting MD with strategic pitching and business development initiatives.
• Review target company financial information and other data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital and net debt considerations, and potential liabilities and risks.
• Develop operational insights utilizing data & analytics to analyze profitability drivers and evaluate key risks and opportunities.
• Draft and review tailored transaction advisory reports on issues such as normalized earnings, management budget achievability, operational insights, indebtedness considerations, and post‑transaction working capital analysis.
• Review financial models and database systems.
• Develop professional networks and relationships with firm, client and target professionals.
• Review transaction agreements, customer and supplier contracts and develop valuation considerations.
• Collaborate closely with corporate finance, valuation and financial restructuring colleagues.
