What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop and implement sales and retention strategies for the TPA business line across multiple states
- Lead strategic planning and sales efforts, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness
- Manage and coach a team of Sales Executives and Client Managers to achieve revenue targets
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, consultants, and key client contacts
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years of health insurance industry experience
- 5 years of sales leadership experience
- State-specific Producer License in Life, Accident & Health required or to be obtained within 45 days of hire
- Proficiency in financial forecasting and understanding industry trends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration
- Experience with Highmark or BCBS
- Strong relationships with external stakeholders in the PA, DE, WV, NY, and/or CA markets
- Experience selling to large self-funded customers
- Marketing experience
