Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. invites a Vice President to join the CIB Controls team to shape risk governance for third-party ecosystems. You will transform assessments into actionable insights, supporting risk acceptance, remediation prioritization, and clear executive storytelling.

You will collaborate with Controls, Technology, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and business partners to ensure a consistent risk posture and transparent reporting across the vendor lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services control management and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on support for third-party risk across vendor lifecycle with clear risk conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze third-party risk information for business and F&B partners.
• Produce executive governance updates and materials for CIB controls and third-party risk forums.
• Support third-party lifecycle reporting with standard risk language and materiality thresholds.
• Perform quality checks on risk assessments and monitoring outputs; flag gaps and coordinate updates.
• Identify recurring themes and emerging risks across the vendor portfolio and elevate items meeting thresholds.
• Create residual risk summaries and remediation options to support risk acceptance and prioritization discussions.
• Review business cases for new or expanded vendor engagements and identify leveraging opportunities.
• Maintain and refresh tracking for KRIs/KPIs, thresholds, and trend summaries; contribute dashboards and reports.
• Track third-party control issues through testing, monitoring, and closure with proper documentation.
