Job summary

LPL Financial in San Diego, CA, seeks a VP of Technology Portfolio Management to lead portfolio governance, align programs, and drive value realization across the enterprise technology portfolio. You will partner with the CIO's office, program managers, and engineers to optimize resources, mentor leaders, establish transparent reporting, and ensure disciplined delivery across initiatives.

You will present portfolio health to executives, manage budgets up to $25M, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience managing highly complex IT programs with budgets up to $25M.
Minimum of 5 years managing people with a track record of developing talent.
Minimum of 1 year managing a portfolio of AI Agents and AI-enabled products.
Deep understanding of Project and Software Development Life Cycle using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

Present portfolio health to the executive team (CIO Direct) monthly.
Identify and resolve critical portfolio insights, opportunities, and gaps.
Lead bi-weekly portfolio lead meetings for an executive audience.
Coordinate with program managers, technology and business executives to align OKRs with enterprise goals.
Manage portfolio budget and coordinate with finance leadership to optimize funds.
