Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President to lead assurance activities across applications and infrastructure supporting the Institutional Securities business. The Internal Audit Division (IAD) provides independent risk insights and evaluates the quality of controls across the firm, driving improvement in risk management and governance processes.

Location: New York, NY, with 4 days in office per week. Expected base pay ranges from $135,000 to $202,500 annually, with additional compensation

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of industry, global markets and regulations relevant to the coverage area.
• Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes.
• Ability to articulate risk to senior management.
• Knowledge of AI and digital assets risk.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and lead assurance activities to assess technology risks and controls.
• Identify emerging risks and incorporate into risk assessments and audit planning.
• Articulate actionable insights to management regarding risk impact.
• Oversee audit projects in accordance with methodology and quality standards.
• Coach and develop direct reports.
