Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a VP, Strategic Payments to define and lead the payments strategy across our growing sports betting and gaming business. You will own relationships with payment providers, banks, and processors and drive a seamless customer experience while enabling expansion into new markets.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Legal to optimize costs, reliability, and performance, and to ensure successful launches in new jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience launching payment capabilities or supporting go-to-market strategies in new markets or jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and negotiate strategic relationships with major payment vendors and financial partners.
• Deep understanding of payments ecosystem including processors, wallets, acquiring banks, and payment economics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the payments strategy aligning with customer experience, growth, and financial objectives.
• Improve deposit and withdrawal experiences and payment success rates.
• Own and optimize payment costs and vendor performance across providers.
• Lead go-to-market planning for expansion into new markets and jurisdictions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Legal to implement payment solutions.
