Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a VP, Contracts Counsel to lead the Corporate Legal team in managing strategic agreements, trademark licensing, foreign manufacturing, and joint ventures.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, support governance matters, and collaborate across functions from Procurement to IT and Finance to enable business growth. The role requires a JD, bar admission, and 15+ years of experience, with in-house exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. State.
• 15+ years of legal practice experience; in-house experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with senior business leaders and influence decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and judgment.
• Capability to manage a high volume of matters and meet deadlines.
• Business-oriented, collaborative problem solver able to partner across departments.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership on contracting and corporate matters.
• Oversee commercial and corporate contracts across trademark licensing, supply chain, tech, and partnerships.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts; offer commercial-minded advice.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, IT, HR, and other teams on agreements.
• Develop contract templates, policies, and a contracts playbook for efficiency.
• Support corporate matters with organizational documents and governance.
• Guide policy development and ongoing legal counsel across the business.
