Job description

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s) : North Carolina

CIT Northbridge Credit is a trusted financial partner supporting middle-market companies with a broad range of flexible asset-based debt solutions. A joint venture advised by First Citizens Institutional Asset Management, it provides revolving and term loan commitments from $15 million to $150 million to companies across various industries and business cycles, and serves primarily as sole lender, agent, club participant or co-lender.

This VP, Portfolio Manager supports the Northbridge Credit Group through managing, servicing, and developing lending relationships on assigned accounts through prescribed policies and procedures. Identifies client needs and recommends facility modifications as appropriate. Builds strong relationships with clients in accordance with the JV values, providing value for the client while maximizing preservation of capital and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management-Monitors portfolio for completeness of documentation, accuracy of credit grading, and potential exposures. Performs other tasks related to the servicing and management of assigned portfolio, including any facility modifications. Promote additional fee generation
  • Client Service-Maintains ongoing communication and contact with assigned loan clients. Fortifies relationships and monitors client satisfaction. Conducts a needs assessment session at least once a year to identify additional financing needs. Promote client retention
  • Collections-Monitors loans for payment status. Works with delinquent customers to collect past due payments. Develop and lead loan workout strategy as appropriate.
  • Collateral and Operations Oversight-work closely with collateral and operations teams to ensure all data is properly received, reviewed and recorded.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and 6 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Credit Analysis, Underwriting or Risk Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Credit Analysis, Underwriting or Risk Management

Portfolio & Asset Management, Syndications & Capital Markets, Commercial Finance, Commercial Banking

Completion of a formal credit training program
