Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a Vice President of Software Engineering in Seattle to lead development of the Firm’s software solutions across global businesses. You will own requirements, design, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), UAT and deployment, while guiding junior engineers.

You will work in all SDLC phases, identify new technologies to transform platforms, and ensure robust testing and scalable solutions for multiple business lines in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with several years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Proficiency with multi-threaded and micro-services architectures and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, support and maintain Goldman Sachs software solutions.
• Design scalable technology solutions leveraging internal and open-source services.
• Own requirements gathering, testing, UAT and deployment across SDLC phases.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
