• Proven leadership in shaping architecture under risk, security and compliance constraints.
• Deep expertise in cloud, APIs, data, and modern engineering practices.
• Strong stakeholder management across product, engineering, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise solutions as scalable products.
• Apply workload placement strategies to leverage cloud elasticity, serverless, and containers.
• Incorporate security principles to meet resiliency expectations.
• Balance risks and controls to deliver business and technology value.
• Contribute to standardised solutions or evolve platform capabilities when needed.
• Provide fault analysis and performance support to operations teams.
• Create architecture artefacts for governance processes (security, privacy, records).
• Lead strategic architectural decisions and mentor teams, aligning with Barclays leadership.
