Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York is seeking a VP / Senior Manager to oversee investment performance calculation, portfolio analytics, and client reporting across equity and fixed income strategies.

You will lead daily to quarterly performance workflows, ensure data integrity, and partner with accounting, operations, and client-facing teams to deliver accurate reporting and compliant GIPS composites. A highly analytical, detail-oriented leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in investment performance calculation, performance reporting, portfolio analytics, or related function.
• Strong knowledge of GIPS standards, composite construction, and investment performance reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with investment performance, portfolio accounting, or reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly performance calculations across equity and fixed income investment strategies.
• Manage calculation and reporting procedures across investment performance and portfolio reporting platforms.
• Review investment and benchmark performance, analyze results, and monitor trends across portfolios and strategies.
• Validate performance data and partner with Accounting, Operations, and other teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Create, maintain, and monitor investment composites in accordance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
• Develop and support recurring and customized investment reporting for portfolio managers, client service teams, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders.
• Partner across investment, accounting, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of performance information.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen performance reporting processes, improve data quality, and enhance the efficiency of monthly production workflows.

Responsibilities as the VP / Senior Manager:

• Investment Performance: Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly performance calculations across equity and fixed income investment strategies.


• Performance Reporting: Manage calculation and reporting procedures across investment performance and portfolio reporting platforms.


• Portfolio Analytics: Review investment and benchmark performance, analyze results, and monitor trends across portfolios and strategies.

Qualifications for the VP / Senior Manager:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.


• Experience: 10+ years of experience in investment performance calculation, performance reporting, portfolio analytics, or a related investment operations function.


• Asset Class Knowledge: Strong experience calculating and analyzing performance across equity and fixed income investment strategies.


• GIPS: Strong understanding of GIPS standards, composite construction, and investment performance reporting requirements.


• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience working with investment performance, portfolio accounting, or reporting platforms.


• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze portfolio and benchmark performance, identify discrepancies, and interpret investment performance data.


• Communication: Ability to work effectively with portfolio managers, accounting teams, client service professionals, and other senior stakeholders.


• Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
