Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Java (8+) and core Spring concepts.
• Expert in Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Proven production-grade ETL pipeline experience.
• Kafka or equivalent messaging systems experience.
• Advanced SQL skills with relational databases.
• Security best practices and OWASP knowledge.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement scalable microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Apply domain-driven design for service isolation and maintainability.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high throughput.
• Architect and maintain ETL/ELT workflows with Spring Batch.
• Configure batch components for high-volume data ingestion and complex transformations.
• Implement security via RESTful APIs, Spring Security, OAuth2 and JWT.
• Build event-driven architectures with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Tune databases with indexing and complex SQL for large datasets.
