Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a seasoned Security Executive Leader to drive AI-driven security strategy and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and analysts. This at-scale role combines hands-on cybersecurity expertise with exceptional communication and strategic influence.

You will partner with Product, R&D, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to shape market conversations, develop compelling technical content, and represent the company at industry events while traveling 25-40% as needed.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of current experience in data science, threat research, security and/or AI.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise-level organizations.
• Executive leadership and public speaking experience preferred.

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Security Executive Leader with deep practical cybersecurity experience and expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to serve as a trusted advisor, strategic thought leader, and public-facing evangelist. This highly visible role will drive technical and executive engagement with customers, partners, industry analysts, media, and the broader AI and cybersecurity community.

This individual combines hands-on security and AI expertise with exceptional communication, thought leadership, and strategic influencing skills. You will partner across Product, R&D, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to shape market conversations, represent the company's vision at industry events, provide executive-level security and AI strategy guidance, and develop compelling technical content that advances innovation and strengthens our market leadership.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• GTM support – Executive and Technical engagements with prospects and members of the AI and Security communities
• Customer and Partner Executive and Technical engagements
• Thought Leadership content generation
• Speaking engagements
• Marketing and Brand collaboration
• Media engagements
• Support or write technical whitepapers and blogs
• Market research and Compliance understanding
• Experience working with cybersecurity product and R&D teams
• Provide security and AI strategy consultations
• Remote position, must be willing to travel 25-40%

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 15 years' current experience and expertise in Data Science, Threat Research, Security, Machine Learning and/or AI
• Actual experience in multiple ML algorithm types-strengths and limitation and desired implications of implementing models into an environments
• Working for or with Enterprise level companies
• Security Operations experience
• Security strategy experience
• Executive leadership experience
• Speaking experience with recordings available if possible
• Technical writing experience with samples if possible
• Bachelors' Degree or higher in STEM
• Base salary $200,000+
