Job description

Ascom is seeking an accomplished VP Sales to lead our US Healthcare sales organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building a high-performance sales team, driving predictable revenue growth, and expanding market share for the Ascom Healthcare Platform. This individual will lead a customer-focused strategy to strengthen relationships across health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and channel partners.

The ideal candidate is a commercially disciplined, relationship-driven sales leader with deep healthcare technology experience, proven success leading multi-channel sales, and the ability to craft and execute scalable go-to-market strategies.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director, Ascom Americas.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, fostering a culture of growth and customer-focus
  • Develop and implement Sales enablement and training programs
  • Execute a GTM plan aligned with company objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to deliver a best-in-class Channel Partner experience
  • Support the Partner Advisory Committee and represent "Voice of Partner" with Ascom leadership
  • Develop and implement a Partner Performance Management system aligned with revenue growth and customer satisfaction objectives
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts, competitor moves, and customer trends to proactively adjust strategy and positioning of Ascom solutions
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts and strategic relationships
  • Support Net Promoter Score initiative and represent "Voice of Customer" with Ascom leadership
  • Oversee high-value deal strategy, pricing, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with financial and legal guidelines
  • Drive commercial excellence in CRM utilization, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy
  • Deliver on annual commitments for Orders and Revenue

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experienced people leader with a proven track-record of building high-performing teams
  • At least 5 years Sales Leadership in the Healthcare market with a focus on acute-care
  • Sales experience with Nurse Call, Mobility, Medical Devices and/or Healthcare Software Solutions
  • Experience with multi-channel sales models (direct, indirect, hybrid, etc...)
  • Ability to travel as needed to support Sales team, Partners, and Customer interaction (up to 50%)
