The Role

We’re hiring a VP Sales (US) to lead expansion into new university / college markets within the US. You’ll set the sales strategy, build the team, and own the number… turning campus partnerships into long-term revenue. There’s flexibility to work remotely from Mid-US or East Coast locations while you lay the groundwork for a future city hub.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and launch a go-to-market plan for substantial college expansion within your first 6 months
  • Build clear messaging that shows housing, procurement, and student-life teams why myhousr matters for their students, today
  • Create a repeatable lead-gen and qualification engine - tracking pipeline health, win rates, and cycle time
  • Negotiate terms and close multi-year contracts that make sense for both sides
  • Report weekly on performance, risks, and next steps, adjusting the playbook when the data points that way
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Marketing, Product, and Ops to ensure continuity from first pitch to renewal

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven background leading B2B sales, with wins in higher-ed or student housing
  • History of taking a zero-to-one sales org through rapid growth - laying the foundations of a GTM strategy.
  • Someone who is not afraid of getting “into the weeds” again to help build something with unlimited growth potential
  • Someone with a rolodex of campus decision-makers who’ll answer your call.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator and thoughtful negotiator who keeps relationships strong, even under pressure
  • Comfortable living in the numbers and tweaking tactics, driven by data
  • Startup mindset: you like clear goals, fast turns, and honest feedback
