Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President, Risk / Policy Management in New York, NY to validate models, communicate risk findings, and support regulatory requests across US/Europe/Asia. This role emphasizes strong quantitative skills, regulatory knowledge, and cross-team collaboration.

Expected base pay ranges from $180,000 to $250,000 per year, with the total compensation package including bonuses and incentives based on individual performance. Telecommuting up to 2 days per week is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Two years of experience in model development/validation roles.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and model risk management.

Responsibilities

• Review, challenge model assumptions and validation of ILST and NII models.
• Communicate findings with treasury, liquidity risk teams and governance bodies.
• Respond to regulatory and internal audit requests related to MRM.
• Develop monitoring, quantify model risks, and document limitations.
• Collaborate with Global MRM teams, COOs, and Finance on model lifecycle.
