Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President in Risk Management to lead risk criteria for retail overdraft and connected commerce collections. You will shape recovery strategies, oversee processes, and partner across teams to strengthen our risk framework.

In this role you’ll apply advanced analytics and regulatory know-how to drive compliant, data-driven decisions while mentoring a team of risk professionals and influencing business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in credit risk management with focus on overdraft and/or connected commerce collection and recovery.
• Solid knowledge in risk strategy, business development, product development, and project management.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk management criteria for retail overdraft and connected commerce collections.
• Oversee collection and recovery processes to ensure effective outcomes.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures for compliance and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, reporting insights to senior management.
• Lead and mentor risk management professionals, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for holistic risk management strategies.
• Integrate advanced analytics and technology solutions to enhance processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Articulate the impact of risks and issues on business functions.
• Influence business leaders with clear communication.
