Help shape the future of regulatory compliance by driving the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role combines expertise in AI, regulatory compliance, and governance to improve regulatory change management, strengthen interactions with regulators, and ensure AI solutions are implemented in a controlled, compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of AI and generative AI solutions that enhance regulatory compliance, regulatory change management, and supervisory engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve the monitoring, interpretation, and tracking of new or changing regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, risk, technology, data, and business teams to deliver enterprise AI initiatives while maintaining strong governance and oversight.
  • Evaluate, review, and support the approval of AI tools, platforms, and technologies used within regulatory and compliance functions.
  • Establish and maintain governance processes, reporting, dashboards, and key risk indicators related to AI initiatives.
  • Support regulatory examinations, information requests, and supervisory interactions by leveraging AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Assess AI-related risks, recommend appropriate controls, and ensure alignment with internal governance standards and evolving regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor emerging AI regulations, industry guidance, and supervisory developments, translating changes into actionable compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for AI-related requests from regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and guidance to business partners on responsible AI usage and governance best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement through innovation while balancing regulatory, operational, and technology risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, governance, risk management, or a related function within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience implementing or supporting AI, machine learning, or generative AI initiatives in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical application within compliance, governance, or regulatory programs.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. financial regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations affecting large financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, capital markets, risk management, legal, compliance, and related control functions.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex regulatory and technology risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, collaboration platforms, and governance or risk management tools.
