Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management seeks a Vice President for the Valuations Team within Global Alternatives. You will review private market investment valuations across real assets and interface with asset managers, auditors, and investors. Strong modeling in Argus Enterprise and Excel is required.

You will present findings, participate in cross-functional initiatives, and help ensure timely, accurate valuations across the platform.

Qualifications

Minimum seven years of institutional real estate or other real asset valuations.
Strong written and quantitative analysis skills.
Abstract reasoning, high organization, and ability to multitask.
Self-starting attitude and initiative.
Interest in alternative asset classes including debt funds and direct investments.

Responsibilities

Review valuation approaches (income, comps, cost) and comment on values/assumptions.
Audit support – respond to auditors and provide information for valuations.
Participate in platform-wide initiatives and process/tech enhancements.
Inform management of valuation difficulties and propose solutions.
Review Investment Committee presentations for acquisitions/origination; identify risks.
Model valuations in Argus Enterprise and Excel; present findings to stakeholders.
