Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management invites an Investment Specialist – Vice President to join the Multi-Asset Solutions team in New York. You will engage in client-facing and analytical work, supporting US Advisory Models through market insights, portfolio analyses, and strategy communications.

You will coordinate with Sales and RFP teams, develop client-ready content, and contribute to strategic projects while maintaining high accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of investment design and portfolio construction. Strong market acumen.
• The environment is fast-paced and demanding. Relationship building skills, flexibility, and teamwork across various teams within and outside the product group is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks are crucial elements to succeed in this role
• Ability to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner, frequently under tight deadline
• Intellectual curiosity - questioning the status quo
• Series 7, Series 63, SIE required

Responsibilities

• Present market and investment insights covering macroeconomic trends, tactical asset allocation, and diversification strategies, while clearly articulating model portfolio views and positioning to internal sales partners and external clients.
• Cover the investment specialist team with meetings, client reporting, and inquiries from internal and external partners; support MAS retail business and model portfolios.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs efficiently and independently.
• Coordinate with Sales, Global Strategic Relationships and RFP teams to address client requirements using product expertise.
• Represent the Investment Solutions team and collaborate with other teams on ad-hoc projects; ensure accurate client information delivery.
• Create high-quality written content on products and markets for client communications; analyze portfolios and prepare proposals and analyses.
• Prepare strategy presentations with portfolio analysis, positioning, analytics, and performance results; manage client deliverables.
• Analyze portfolio data to support strategic decision-making.
• Communicate key selling points of products and market trends to stakeholders.
• Support the development and execution of organizational objectives.
• Train internal sales force – collaborate with sales teams to equip advisors with market talking points and implementation strategies.
