Job Description Summary
Responsible for designing trading system architecture in collaboration with Technology teams, and developing quantitative and algorithmic trading applications.
Incumbents possess excellent quantitative/analytic and coding skills, and a broad knowledge of financial markets and products.
Job Description:
This job is responsible for conducting quantitative analytics and modeling projects for specific business units or risk types. Key responsibilities include developing new models, analytic processes, or systems approaches, creating technical documentation for related activities, and working with Technology staff in the design of systems to run models developed. Job expectations include having a broad knowledge of financial markets and products.
Within the FICC Quantitative Strategies and Data Group is our Global Rates Electronic Trading Strats team, one of the fastest growing and dynamic areas at Bank of America. The Global Rates team is a growing and ambitious organisation, and eTrading continues to be recognized as a focus of future investment and a driver of innovation.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this role include working with Global Rates business to research, design and build the trading models and electronic systems for pricing, electronic market making and automatic risk management for the Rates trading desks. This role operates in close co-operation with our partners in Trading, Sales and Technology as well as other lines of business across FICC.
Performs end-to-end market risk stress testing including scenario design, scenario implementation, results consolidation, internal and external reporting, and analyzes stress scenario results to better understand key drivers
Skills:
Minimum Education Requirement: Master’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
