The role emphasizes efficiency, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration with asset management and investments.

The candidate will manage appeals and compliance, guide budgeting for assets, and pursue continual improvement using AI-enabled strategies and development of best-in-class tax

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience leading a dispersed property tax team across states.
• Strong knowledge of ad valorem taxation and property tax accounting.
• Proven ability to manage property tax appeals across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement property tax strategies for core real estate sectors, improving bottom-line profitability.
• Lead a geographically dispersed property tax team and drive development.
• Manage property tax appeals and compliance, budgeting for assets.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Investments to support platform decisions.
• Continuously assess asset scope with AI-enabled strategies.
