Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Vice President of Product Management in New York to lead the strategy and evolution of a market-leading proxy voting and investment stewardship platform used by institutional investors, asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, and corporate issuers.

You will own the product vision, partner with engineering, and work directly with clients to drive innovation, adoption, and commercial success while guiding a small team through the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience within financial services, fintech, market infrastructure, governance technology, or related sectors.
• Deep understanding of proxy voting, shareholder governance, investment stewardship, corporate actions, or institutional investor workflows.
• Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers, custodians, broker-dealers, transfer agents, or governance service providers.
• Track record of managing complex enterprise platforms and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Experience building product roadmaps, defining requirements, and working within Agile development environments.
• Intellectual curiosity around AI and emerging technologies and their application to financial services products.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable technology solutions.
