Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Leader for our Store Intelligence product line, including both the current version and the upcoming CINDE version. This leadership role involves overseeing product strategy, growth, and P&L management, while leading a cross-functional team of Product Managers and overlay Sales Account Executives. You will be responsible for driving the success of the SI product line by collaborating with sales, technical, and operations teams to close deals, develop product capabilities, and ensure market success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Leadership & Strategy:
    1. Lead the product strategy and execution for the Store Intelligence product line, including the current version and CINDE version.
    2. Own and manage the P&L for the SI product line, ensuring growth and alignment with company goals.
    3. Set and execute the vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy, working closely with internal stakeholders and clients.
  2. Team Management:
    1. Manage a team of 5-6 Technical Product Managers, guiding them in developing and delivering innovative product features and solutions.
    2. Oversee and mentor 2 overlay Sales Account Executives.
  3. Sales & Client Engagement:
    1. Actively support and collaborate with Regional Sales and Client Partner teams to close SI deals, providing product expertise and guidance.
    2. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, helping them understand the value of the product in driving operational efficiencies and store-level success.
  4. Collaboration with Technical & Operational Teams:
    1. Coordinate with software and AI development teams to ensure Store Intelligence-related software solutions are effectively developed and delivered.
    2. Collaborate with Data Operations teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
  5. Market Leadership & Client Impact:
    1. Serve as a thought leader within the retail industry, presenting at industry events, engaging with clients, and representing the company’s vision.
    2. Drive the adoption of the product line by engaging with key clients, providing insights into best practices, and understanding evolving customer needs.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Experience:
    1. Proven track record of successful leadership in SaaS product management roles, with experience growing new product lines from $0-50M ARR and/or $50-100M ARR.
  2. Retail & Product Expertise:
    1. Deep understanding of the F&G retail industry, particularly in-store and shelf execution, and/or store-level category or inventory management.
  3. Thought Leadership:
    1. Ability to engage and impress clients and prospects as a subject matter expert, providing strategic insight on how SI can deliver value.
  4. Technical Knowledge:
    1. Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of generative AI and its applications within the retail industry.
  5. Leadership & Communication Skills:
    1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams toward common goals.
    2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
