Who You Are

• A Proven Scaler: You have a demonstrated track record of scaling product and teams at healthcare or digital health organizations through periods of rapid growth, specifically guiding a company from a Series A or B funding round and beyond. You know what it takes to build for the future while delivering value today.
• A True Healthcare Domain Expert: You possess a deep, nuanced understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. You're not just familiar with regulations and compliance; you have an intimate knowledge of the interworkings of healthcare, industry best practices, and complex clinical details and nuanced workflows. This expertise is critical to our success and will inform every aspect of our product strategy.
• A Force of Nature: You don't wait for permission; you make things happen. You are obsessed with deadlines and outcomes—"on time" is late in your book.
• An Exceptional Communicator and Influencer: You are a compelling storyteller who can articulate complex product strategies simply and inspiringly to diverse audiences, from engineers to executive leadership and external partners.
• A Skilled Talent Developer: You are known for your ability to recruit, mentor, and empower product managers to achieve their full potential and drive significant impact.
• Data-Driven and Empathetic: You are skilled in making informed decisions based on data, but you also have a deep empathy for the end-user and never lose sight of their needs.
• A "No Job Too Small" Leader: You have been in the trenches, seen how the sausage is made, and have the pragmatic, hands-on approach necessary to ensure success in a startup environment.
  
  

What You'll Do

• Own the Product Vision: Define, evolve, and execute the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap with a laser focus on our mission. Ensure alignment with Zivian Health's strategic objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Lead and Scale the Product Team: Recruit, mentor, coach, and manage a high-performing product management team. Foster a culture of excellence, urgency, and accountability, empowering individual product managers to own their domains and beat estimates.
• Serve as our Healthcare Subject Matter Expert: Act as the internal authority on the healthcare landscape, embedding deep knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices into our product DNA.
• Drive a World-Class Digital Healthcare Experience: Champion and oversee the development of an intuitive and engaging digital healthcare experience across all platforms, delighting our customers and ensuring high engagement for providers and patients.
• Master of Execution: Drive strategic alignment and ruthless execution across engineering, design, clinical, operations, sales, and marketing teams. You will be expected to lead with urgency and accountability, relentlessly pushing projects forward while bringing others along with you.
• Ensure Rigorous Compliance: Provide strategic leadership to ensure all product development and features adhere rigorously to healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, state/federal regulations), credentialing requirements, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
• Champion User Empathy & Data-Driven Insights: Oversee continuous user research, market analysis, and A/B testing initiatives to deeply understand user needs and pain points, translating insights into impactful product development.
• Be the Voice of the Product: Communicate clearly and consistently with customers and internal stakeholders, always operating with the end-user in mind.
