Ares Management Corporation seeks a Vice President to join the Private Equity Product Management and Investor Relations team in Los Angeles. You will shape fundraising strategy, craft investor communications and manage engagement with sophisticated LPs, supporting market-leading private equity strategies.

The role requires investment fluency, strong project management, and exceptional analytical and communication skills to deliver high-stakes content in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with strong academics.
• 7+ years of relevant experience; 2-4+ yrs in private markets investor relations, product management, fundraising, or placement agent advisory.
• Experience at leading private equity or alternative asset managers or top-tier financial services platforms.
• Demonstrated fluency in private markets, able to articulate strategy, performance and fund-level considerations.
• Experience developing, drafting or reviewing investor materials (DDQs, PPMs, pitch books, letters).
• Strong analytical capability with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; comfortable with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Help drive fundraising and investor engagement strategies and prepare for LP meetings.
• Own the Private Equity product narrative and market positioning.
• Lead creation of fundraising and investor materials (pitch books, DDQs, PMs, reports).
• Set quality standards across investor-facing materials; ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Translate portfolio insights into crisp, investor-ready content.
• Lead content and diligence workstreams for fundraising and co-investment processes.
• Identify process improvements to raise output quality and efficiency using data and AI.
