Job summary

Western & Southern Financial Group in Cincinnati seeks a Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager - Private Asset-Backed Finance (ABF) to develop and manage a private ABF portfolio for insurance asset-liability management and surplus portfolios, focusing on income generation and capital preservation. You will collaborate with the public Securitized Fixed Income team on allocations and security selection.

Qualifications

Typically 10+ years of experience in banking, investment banking, insurance or capital markets with ABF structuring.
Proven cashflow modeling and structuring across ABF sectors.
Experience with rating agencies and legal teams in ABF financings.
Experience across ABF collateral types for insurance clients.

Responsibilities

Manages and prioritizes a pipeline of private ABF opportunities through a developed and approved business strategy.
Manages all transactional aspects of negotiating, structuring and closing ABF transactions.
Presents and reinforces the rationale for the investment to the Investment Committee.
Leads and participates in pitching, evaluating, structuring, executing, managing and closing ABF transactions.
Drives issuer engagement and originates opportunities.
Develops and maintains relationships with external counterparties and internal partners.
Drives effective monitoring and reporting of the private asset backed ABF portfolio.
Complies with all policies and standards.
