Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics.
• 5+ years of full-time experience working with fixed income securities.
• Firm understanding of finance principles and mathematical/statistical modeling.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market data.
• Proficiency in Excel and practical experience with Python.
• Excellent communication with clients, traders, and teams; able to lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Daily generation and oversight of security valuations for multiple market closes, including data collection, price generation, QC, and client interaction.
• Lead and enhance valuation methodologies and process controls through market surveillance and stakeholder communication.
• Build and maintain cashflow models for Securitized Products and analyze complex deal structures.
• Provide in-depth analysis of portfolios and communicate valuation drivers and rationale to colleagues and clients.
• Engage with trading desks, research, and market participants to support valuations and product coverage.
• Explore new growth areas with independent research and act as a senior client contact to ensure timely resolution of issues.
