ITTConnect is seeking a Premium Banking Team Lead (VP) for a direct-hire full time position with a client that is a large financial institution.


Job location: Miami, FL.

The VP, Premium Banking Team Lead is responsible for managing, maintaining and converting the Premium client portfolio, and establishing new clients. The individual should know and understand the legal and regulatory environment and requirements and comply with them. It is also expected that individual act with ethics, transparency and competence towards clients to identify and develop business opportunities and to ensure and promote a long–term, trustworthy and sustainable relationship. In addition, Team Leader is responsible for overseeing their RO(s)an RMs to ensure the business deliverables and milestones are established.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify clients with Private Wealth Management (PWM) potential and proactively increase wallet share through targeted referrals, relationship deepening, and tailored banking solutions to drive conversion to PWM clients.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance digital engagement within the Premium Banking portfolio, ensuring clients maximize the use of digital channels and solutions while supporting the Bank’s digital transformation strategy.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and client activity to identify cross‑selling opportunities and enhance overall relationship value.

  • Ensure the delivery of superior client experience by maintaining high service standards and proactively addressing client needs.

  • Oversee onboarding activities and periodic client reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify growth opportunities, mitigate attrition risk, and strengthen client engagement.

  • Collaborate with product specialists, treasury, lending, and wealth management teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Establish performance goals and key metrics for team members, providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging clients need to support strategic growth initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to all risk management, AML/KYC, compliance, and operational policies while fostering a culture of accountability and ethical conduct.

  • Utilize management reports and client analytics to assess team performance, improve productivity, and support data‑driven decision making.

  • Champion a client‑centric culture focused on relationship deepening, operational excellence, and sustainable revenue growth.

  • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards, including AML/KYC, BSA, OFAC, and client due diligence procedures.


Requirements


  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Private Wealth Management, Family Office, or Financial Advisory services.

  • MUST BE fluent in Spanish.

  • Experience serving Latin American clients and understanding the unique financial, cultural, and regulatory considerations of the region.

  • Series 7, Series 66 (or equivalent), and other applicable securities licenses preferred.

  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, wealth planning, trust and estate strategies, credit solutions, and alternative investments.

  • Experience serving Latin American clients and understanding the unique financial, cultural, and regulatory considerations of the region.

  • Strong business development, networking, and relationship management capabilities.

  • Excellent understanding of international and cross‑border wealth management structures.

  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of AML/KYC, BSA, OFAC, and wealth management regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to travel throughout Latin America as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
