Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking a Vice President, PR & Communications to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that positions the brand within culture. You will own the full lifecycle of storytelling, secure editorial placements, and orchestrate activations and events that generate earned media.

You will report to the SVP, Marketing and lead the communications team in delivering integrated campaigns that reinforce the brand position in fashion and culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
• Proven track record of developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
• Deep knowledge of fashion, luxury, or culture communications.
• Established relationships with key editors and journalists.
• Experience leading brand activations and events with media coverage.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the brand's comprehensive PR and communications strategy.
• Own brand narrative and secure editorial placements across seasons.
• Lead all press strategy, including media pitches and executive positioning.
• Oversee press relationships and agency partners.
• Manage fashion show logistics, activations, and events.
• Lead and coach the communications team and manage budget.
