Job summary

Talisman Advisory Partners has been retained by a leading global investment bank to appoint a Vice President within its Power, Renewables & Infrastructure advisory group in New York.

The VP will lead execution of complex M&A transactions, work closely with senior bankers and clients, manage junior team members, and guide cross-functional deal workstreams from inception to close. This role is M&A advisory-focused, not project finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university.
• 5–8 years of experience in investment banking or M&A advisory.
• Strong transaction execution experience with significant deal exposure.
• Experience across power, renewables, infrastructure, or energy transition sectors preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage junior professionals and multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution workstreams across M&A and strategic advisory transactions.
• Develop and oversee complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Coordinate diligence processes and manage external advisors and counterparties.
• Prepare client presentations, board materials, and transaction documentation.
• Support senior bankers in client coverage and origination efforts.
• Manage analysts and associates across live transactions and pitches.
• Build relationships with infrastructure investors, sponsors, and strategic corporates.
• Contribute to strategic positioning and idea generation across the power and infrastructure landscape.
