Job summary

CAZ Investments is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio Management & Operations to support risk management and tax oversight across our investment platform. You will identify, monitor, and mitigate investment risks while collaborating with teams to inform leadership and drive sound portfolio construction and long-term outcomes.

Requirements include a CPA, a Bachelor's in a related field, and 6+ years in investment roles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; CPA certification required.
6+ years of investment industry experience preferred.
Demonstrated audit experience with a Big Four accounting firm or in the financial services sector is required.
Expertise in alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and hedge funds.
Experience evaluating tax implications of investment structures, including partnerships, blockers, SPVs, and offshore vehicles, is preferred.
Exceptional organizational and written communication skills with exacting attention to detail.
Strong research experience and financial knowledge, with an understanding of accounting and financial valuation.
Experience in Deal Cloud and/or Caissa is a strong plus, as well as other data analytics software platforms.

Responsibilities

Support portfolio-level risk management across the Firm’s investment platform, including monitoring concentration, liquidity, leverage and downside risk exposures.
Identify, evaluate, and manage investment-related tax considerations, including structuring implications, ongoing tax exposures and coordination with internal and external tax advisors.
Assist the Portfolio Management Team in monitoring and tracking existing investments and portfolios, including gathering and analyzing data on existing investments.
