About The Role

HARMAN is undergoing a transformation within the businesses and functions that will enable us to grow ambitiously. We need to look at our people, processes, and technology, and HR is determined to play an active role in those initiatives. To execute HARMAN’s strategy, we must examine current practices and identify necessary changes in organization design, processes, and systems to support our growth.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the design and implementation of a holistic employee experience strategy aligned with company goals and culture.
  • Partner with divisional teams, HR delivery, and enablement teams to ensure alignment on priorities, managing the HR Roadmap and annual cycles.
  • Assess the HR Technology landscape, adopting an outside-in approach to enhance employee experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Support the CHRO in developing and translating HR strategy into actionable programs and projects.
  • Collaborate with the business on specific people process needs, assessing feasibility and advising on changes or investments.
  • Evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, and drive simplification and efficiencies across technology, processes, and programs.
  • Develop and promote the HARMAN Culture and Values plan to foster employee belonging.
What You Need To Be Successful
  • 15+ years’ HR experience, either leading a COE or implementing transformational HR programs.
  • Strong skills in HCM systems like Workday or SuccessFactors, with knowledge of complementary solutions for integration and simplicity.
  • Leadership ability to influence and collaborate with cross-cultural teams.
  • Knowledge of current HR trends and best practices related to employee experience.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate concepts into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Bonus Points if You Have
  • Experience in developing HR strategies and executing large-scale global initiatives.
  • Leadership of global/virtual teams through large projects.
  • Consulting experience on multicultural projects.
What Makes You Eligible
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work remotely full-time with occasional trips to HARMAN offices, sometimes on short notice.
  • Successful background check and drug screening.
What We Offer

  • Employee discounts on Harman and Samsung products.
  • Training through HARMAN University.
