OverviewThe Vice President of Originations Marketing will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all customer-facing communication strategies through our traditional direct response channels, such as direct mail and email. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of CD Originations, this leader will own the budgets, strategies, and performance metrics for each channel while leading a team of marketing professionals. In addition, the role will lead large cross-functional initiatives, oversee the development of mortgage-related content across all platforms, and drive efforts to increase brand awareness and campaign performance through testing and data analysis. This role requires a combination of channel management, senior-level leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
This remote role offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, comprehensive benefits starting on day one, and a company-matched 401(k) plan.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the strategy, budget, and performance of the Direct Mail and Email channels.
- Lead the development of engaging, compliant mortgage-related content across email, direct mail, digital, and other marketing platforms.
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns comply with industry regulations and company policies, working closely with Legal and Compliance departments.
- Leverage data analytics to map and enhance the customer journey, ensuring personalized and timely communications that improve customer experience and retention.
- Lead and execute large-scale, cross-functional marketing initiatives and programs.
- Develop tactics to enhance brand awareness and differentiate our services in a competitive market.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of marketing professionals to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests across marketing channels to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics; recommend data-driven optimizations to improve return on investments.
- Stay informed on emerging marketing technologies and platforms to continuously enhance campaign innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally within the mortgage or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing marketing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, with a focus on delivering value and enhancing customer satisfaction throughout the mortgage lifecycle.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Proficient with email service platforms, ideally SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrated success in managing both direct reports and agency/vendor partnerships.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
