VP, Operations, Global Credit Management and Treasury (Finance)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The VP, Operations, Global Credit Management & Treasury is a key leadership role responsible for supporting back-office credit operations globally. This includes aggregation and reporting of key credit metrics, ensuring data quality, maintaining process controls, managing collateral, and handling general accounting and reconciliations. Success factors include strong communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, organizational skills, a track record of delivering outcomes, willingness to learn, flexibility, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Relationships & Scope:

The position reports directly to the SVP, Global Treasury, supporting the Global Credit Management and select Treasury functions. Main responsibilities include:

  1. Aggregating and reporting key credit metrics regularly and as needed.
  2. Managing incoming collateral instruments and documentation, including Letters of Credit, Trusts, Pledge, Surety Bonds, and Cash balances.
  3. Performing journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis related to collateral.
  4. Monitoring and coordinating the bad debt process.
  5. Supporting credit-related audits and SOX compliance activities.
  6. Collaborating with Treasury, Accounting, Investment, and Actuarial teams on credit matters.
  7. Reengineering controls and procedures for efficiency.
  8. Managing third-party data sources and subscriptions.
  9. Leading a diverse team, fostering collaboration, professional development, clear communication, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
