Job summary

Starfish Space is seeking a VP of Supply Chain to oversee the end-to-end supply chain required to deliver Otter satellites on schedule, within budget, and to the quality required for flight.

This role focuses on managing strategic supplier relationships, risk mitigation, and driving execution across internal teams and external partners to support spacecraft assembly, integration, testing and delivery for launch.

Qualifications

• Identify, communicate, and drive resolution of supply chain risks related to schedule, cost, and quality

About Starfish Space

Starfish Space provides satellite servicing missions with its Otter servicing vehicle, including life extension missions for geostationary satellites and disposal missions for low Earth orbit satellites. Founded in 2019, Starfish has raised over $150M in venture capital funding and built a team of engineers with experience spanning satellite guidance, navigation, control, and autonomous robotics. Starfish has launched several missions to-date, and is focused on delivering Otter satellite servicing missions for SES, the U.S. Space Force, the Space Development Agency, NASA, and others.

Position Description

Starfish Space is building Otter satellite servicing vehicles: advanced autonomous satellites capable of docking with and providing services to other satellites in orbit. We are looking for a VP of Supply Chain to oversee the end-to-end supply chain required to deliver Otter satellites on schedule, within budget, and to the quality required for flight.

This role is responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships, identifying & mitigating supply chain risks, and driving execution across internal teams and external partners to support successful spacecraft assembly, integration, testing and delivery for launch.
