Job Title: Vice President of Sales – U.S. (Genetic Data )

Reports To: SVP of Global Sales

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our U.S. commercial operations focused on the sale of genetic and genomic data products and services. The ideal candidate has deep domain knowledge of genomics, precision medicine, and molecular diagnostics, and a successful track record of selling data-driven solutions into clinical genetic testing laboratories and biotech.

As VP of Sales, you will play a critical leadership role in developing and executing our U.S. sales strategy, building a high-performing sales team, expanding customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the U.S. sales strategy for genetic data solutions targeting clinical genomics labs, biotech/pharma, and research organisations.
  • Lead a team of sales executives, account managers, and business development professionals to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with decision-makers in clinical diagnostics, translational research, and biotech R&D.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, legal, and operations to ensure value alignment, pricing strategy, and customer success.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic partnerships and key accounts across the biotech and clinical genomics landscape.
  • Build detailed forecasting models and manage CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments, reimbursement trends, and competitive landscape in the U.S. genomics and health data markets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or biotech data.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals with biotech, pharma, or clinical labs.
  • Existing network of contacts in clinical labs, biopharma, and genomics research organisations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills; demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences or business field required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
