Veolia seeks a strategic Vice President of Rates to lead multi-jurisdictional rate strategies for its regulated water and wastewater operations. Based in Paramus, NJ, this senior executive guides rate filings, tariff design, and financial outcomes while coordinating with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations.

The role requires deep regulatory expertise, a track record in multi-jurisdictional filings, and strong leadership to develop talent and ensure accurate, defendable submissions.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in utility rate making, regulatory filings, and rate design across regulated utilities.
  • Experience leading multi-jurisdictional rate cases from development through filing and approval.
  • Strong understanding of capital recovery, rate base, depreciation, O&M, taxes, and regulatory mechanisms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of multi-jurisdictional rate strategies aligned with capital priorities.
  • Oversee rate case development, revenue requirements, cost of service, and tariff design.
  • Develop a multi-year rate case calendar and regulatory filing roadmap.
  • Advise executive leadership on rate strategy, regulatory risk, and financial outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations.
